Markhush is a brand operated by Markmaker Creative Inc.
This policy explains what information Markhush collects when you use the service, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We've tried to keep it plain and specific to what this app actually does, rather than generic boilerplate.
Information we collect
When you use Markhush, we collect:
- Your email address, provided before generating logo previews.
- Your business name and business description, which you provide to generate concepts.
- Your design choices — brand color, font, and platform selections.
- Your IP address, used to enforce a rate limit on free preview generation (currently 5 generate/regenerate requests per hour) and to prevent abuse.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. Markhush never receives, sees, or stores your card number or other payment details.
How we use this information
- To generate your logo concepts. Your business name and description are sent to OpenAI as part of the image-generation request.
- To process payment via Stripe and deliver your purchased files.
- To enforce free-tier rate limits and prevent automated abuse.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
Third parties we share data with
OpenAI — receives your business name and description as part of the image-generation prompt, in order to create your logo concepts.
Stripe — processes your payment. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment details.
Render — our hosting provider, which stores the application, database, and generated files.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site.
Data retention
Purchased brand kit files are retained indefinitely, so you can always come back and re-download them. Preview images from generations you didn't purchase are automatically deleted after 7 days. If you'd like your data or purchased files removed sooner, contact us (see below) and we'll delete them on request.
Cookies and tracking
Markhush does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tracking. Stripe's checkout page may set its own cookies as part of processing payment; that is governed by Stripe's privacy policy, not this one.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing us. We'll respond and act on reasonable requests promptly.
Children's privacy
Markhush is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years old (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, and any of our other policies, at any time and without prior notice. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
